Initially making these key caps I just had the Perk-a-Cola icons on top of the keys and it felt like there was too much empty space at the front of the keys. After a little google searching I found good examples of the vending machines for each perk and tried to incorporate their design into the base of the keys. The PhD Flopper(purple) key took the longest to settle on a design because I wanted to use the balls around the top or light bulbs down the front at first, but ultimately settled on the yellow grate on the front.
